Connect ChatGPT
Add Salesly to ChatGPT as a connector in a few clicks.
This guide connects ChatGPT to your Salesly account. It takes a few minutes and only needs one URL — no keys, no technical setup.
Before you start
- You need a paid ChatGPT plan that supports connectors. On Business/Enterprise workspaces, a workspace admin may need to allow custom connectors first.
- Have your MCP server URL ready: in Salesly, go to Settings → Integrations, find the MCP / AI assistants card, and copy the URL. See the overview if you can't find it.
Connect Salesly to ChatGPT
Open ChatGPT's connector settings
In ChatGPT, click your profile picture and open Settings, then go to Connectors.
Enable developer mode (one time)
If you don't see an option to create a connector, open the Advanced settings inside the Connectors section and enable Developer mode. This is just ChatGPT's name for allowing custom connectors — you won't need to do anything technical.
Create the connector
Click Create (or Add custom connector). Name it Salesly, paste your
MCP server URL into the URL field, and choose OAuth as the
authentication method if asked. Save the connector.
Sign in to Salesly and approve
ChatGPT opens a Salesly page in your browser: sign in with your normal Salesly email and password, review the permissions, and press Approve. You're then sent back to ChatGPT.
Use it in a chat
In a new chat, open the + (or tools) menu near the message box and select the Salesly connector. Then ask something — for example: "Summarize this month's won opportunities."
Disconnecting
You can disconnect from either side:
- In Salesly: Settings → Integrations → MCP / AI assistants → Revoke next to ChatGPT. This cuts off access immediately.
- In ChatGPT: Settings → Connectors → remove the Salesly connector.
